Suceena Alexander is a consultant nephrologist and early career researcher in Christian Medical College Vellore since 2010. She is a clinician scientist and has submitted her PhD thesis on IgA Nephropathy recently. She is a member of many Nephrology Societies. Research interests encompass renal fibrosis, immune-mediated renal disease, in particular IgA-nephropathy, renal genetics, as well as CKD. She has established the first South-Asian prospective longitudinal IgA nephropathy cohort (GRACE-IgANI) since 2015 and an institutional Prospective Glomerulonephritis Registry and Bio-Repository since 2019. She is also involved in glomerulonephritis clinical trials and in CKD research.
